With the launch of the new 2014 GMC Sierra automaker continues a long legacy that began in 1900 and has over 111 years of success

The first commercial truck from the city of Detroit (launched in 1902) was created by Rapid Motor Vehicle, brand created by Max Grabowsky. This company was the starting point of this story, because in 1909 General Motors acquired and established himself as the start of the GMC truck division.

It was in 1912 that hits the market first with the name GMC pickup and could choose vertical or curved fronts style "French".

The year 1927 marked a milestone in the design of such vehicles as stylized joined bumpers and headlights attached to the radiator among other new items.

In the last decade the most relevant is the Duramax diesel engine facility in the Sierra HD offers superior capacity and the launch of the first Denali.

Finally, continuing a long and rich history, presents the new 2014 GMC Sierra.
