How to Test an Audi Cruise

1. Locate the cruise control bar, usually located to the left of the drivers wheel. Along the edge of the bar will be the word Set, and you will see buttons for controlling the Speed.
2. Drive the car to your desired speed, and then pull the bar towards you until it is in the On position.
3. Click the bar up or down to increase or decrease the set speed.
4. Click the Distance forward or backward to adjust the amount of distance you want the car to keep from the nearest car in front of you. Note that this feature is only available for models using the adaptive cruise control system. You will see two cars on your driver control panel showing you how the distance is set.
5. Release the brake and clutch pedals, as pressing them will disengage the cruise control system. If the cruise control didnt work at first because you had your foot on one of these pedals, pull the bar towards you. This is the Resume setting, and it will re-engage the cruise control. Your car should then keep the set speed.
